Raw Chocolate Nut Butter Cups

As a self-confessed nut butter and chocolate addict, these healthy treats are the bees-knees.

A word of warning: you may want to eat the whole batch, so either be prepared for this, or practice self-control!



1/2 cup coconut oil

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1 pinch salt

3 tbsp maple syrup

3 tbsp peanut butter (or any other nut butter)


1. Melt all of the ingredients (apart from the peanut butter) in a double boiler.
2. Once melted, pour 1cm of chocolate mix into mini cupcake molds and set in freezer for 5 minutes.

3. Remove from freezer and spoon 1 tsp of peanut butter on top, before covering it with more of the chocolate.
4. Allow to set in freezer for further 10 minutes or until hardened.
