Indulgent Post Workout Smoothie

It is perfect for repairing muscles and is also packed with super power vitamins and minerals to keep you sustained and not giving up on life after a powerful workout!

It’s so important to eat right after a workout in order to feed your muscles and not letting them purely deplete after working them hard.

Eating the right things post-workout will also minimise that full body ache after you’ve worked out.

So this is designed to fuel your body without creating a sugar high.

Packed with good carbohydrates and healthy fats and protein from the chia seeds and cacao, it is such a treat for the taste buds and body. There are even some cheeky greens hiding in there!


INGREDIENTS

1 banana

A handful of raspberries

A handful of spinach

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp cacao powder

1/2 scoop chocolate protein whey powder (stevia sweetened)

1/4 cup grated courgette

1/2 cup almond milk

METHOD

1. Pop all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Pour into a glass and top with cacao nibs and raspberries and enjoy with a spoon or straw!
