Smoothie bowls may not be as prominent in my life as they once were (I’m a porridge regular these days) but I still do appreciate a good, nourishing smoothie bowl when I’m feeling something a little lighter in the mornings.
This one is packed with extra vegetables, from the courgette and if you’re going completely sugar free then feel free to take out the banana. My go to milk in this is coconut milk (particularly the Rebel Kitchen one) as it adds so much creaminess but again, use whatever you have to make it yummy. I’ve added a scoop of vanilla protein powder too which I find adds not only extra protein but a lovely texture to smoothies, but if you don’t have any then simply leave it out.[yumprint-recipe id=’11’]
